The Fife Soccer Sevens Development Association celebrated the end of their season with a fun filled Saturday morning at Pitreavie Playing Fields, Dunfermline.
Each Saturday over the season all the clubs within the Association congregate en masse at Pitreavie for their fixtures – this results in over 60 teams, around 700 footballers, and over 1000 parents and supporters being present every week!
The outcome of this is an atmosphere which allows children to develop new skills, have fun, make new friends and progress at their own pace.
The Association would not be able to run without the support of the coaches and volunteers who run the clubs, but in particular Andy Campbell and Davie Barbour who organise and chair the Association.
The Fife Soccer Sevens Development Association is part of the Fife Football Partnership, which provides a progressive and development pathway for footballers to follow through fun fours, soccer 7s, and developmental football, through to the adult game.
Well done to all involved.
