Tosh Farrell, Head of International Development at Everton FC, was the guest coach at the Central Region’s second coach development day.

The free event at Broadwood Stadium on Sunday 2nd August was open to anyone with an interest in youth football, and attracted around 100 coaches and volunteers.

Tosh delivered two practical sessions, which focused on coaching children and youth players, as well as taking part in a Q&A.

Robert McCallum of Gartcairn Youth Academy was at Broadwood on Sunday. He said: "It was absolutely fantastic, professionally run and very informative from every angle. I will make sure that we have more people attending next years event and also will ensure that everyone within the league knows about it."

Andy Gilchrist, Scottish FA central regional manager, said: “It was fantastic to have a coach with Tosh’s knowledge and experience here at Broadwood. It was a great day, and  we've had some very positive feedback. I’m sure that everyone who attended the coach development day learned a lot from him.”
