September and October 2014 has seen a number of Fun Fours and Soccer Sevens football festivals take place within Clackmannanshire at Tullibody Civic Centre.
These festivals were open to both boys and girls from local Clackmannanshire Primary Schools and included over 330 Primary 4 and Primary 5 children attended the Fun Fours Festivals and over 360 Primary 6 and Primary 7 children take part in the Soccer Sevens events.
Football Development Officer, Martyn Buckie said, "These festivals provide a fantastic opportunity for children to play against neighbouring school teams through the Fun Fours and Soccer 7s formats in a safe environment where they can put their skills on show."
As well as a strong focus being on fun and enjoyment, all players were encouraged to follow the principles of Positive Coaching Scotland (PCS) which is a fantastic tool encouraging fair play, sportsmanship, respect for others and to honour the game.
