Renfrewshire Council's Sport Service In partnership with Scottish Football Association is seeking to employ Football Development Officer across Renfrewshire. The post holder will work closely with, assist and take direction from Renfrewshire Council Sport Services and the Scottish Football Association.
The Football Development Officer will have three main key areas of work (i) to deliver the Scottish FA School of Football project (ii) to work with local football clubs to support the development of grassroots coaches (iii) to help support the development of the Scottish FA Quality Mark programme. Within the role you will promote participation in football at all levels in line with Scotland United, the Scottish FA strategic plan.
Essential requirements of the role include holding relevant HND in sport related qualification and qualified to level A/B or Youth License or Advance Children License, be a clear and confident communicator and have experience in working with young people and adults. The successful candidate will have a good level of footballing knowledge and s/he will have the ability to communicate well with individuals and teams of people.
Desirable requirements have a full driving license and have access to transport.
