Active School Coordinator Tina Ferguson organised a local primary school girls football festival at Notre Dame High School, supported by the Scottish FA.
The aim of the festival was to work closely Scottish FA girls' and women's football development officer Corrie Campbell to promote girls' clubs in the area.
14 schools were represented with 16 teams playing 7-a-side games aimed at P5-7 girls.
Corrie said: "It was great to see 155 girls playing football and really enjoying themselves. Every year at Inverclyde Primary festival the standard just keeps getting better, the standard of play was great.
"I am really keen to encourage girls to attend local clubs to continue their development and enjoyment."
