Vital information for helping improve player development in the 11v11 format is to be taught at a series of FREE coaching workshops at Lornshill Academy in Tullibody on Friday, April 19 from 6.30pm to 9.30pm.

This event will provide you with both theoretical and practical content relevant to the game formats contained within the National Player Pathway and amongst others, will cover the following topics:

Role of the Coach,  Coaching Pathway, Codes of Conduct and Positive Coaching Scotland, Match Day Guidelines, Match Day Protocol, Match Supervision, Skills Practices, Game Related Activities and Match Day Scenarios.

The 11v11 format is introduced to players aged 13-years-old as part of the National Player Pathway which has been agreed by all of the non-professional game, including the nine affiliated national associations, in Scotland as part of the newly created One National Plan.

Beforehand, young players play four-a-side from six to eight and seven-a-side from nine to 12-years-old.
