The Scottish FA East Region held the Girls East Region 13s and 15s League Cup finals on Saturday 25th June at Riverside Playing Fields, Dundee.
The two finals were between Forfar Farmington and Dunfermline Athletic GFC for the 13s trophy and the 15s final was Letham Girls versus Dundee United Sports Club.
As well as the finals there was an 11s festival which had over 150 girls taking part in 7-a-side games.
With over 700 spectators coming to watch throughout the day the two finals were keenly contested and played in a competitive spirit to create a great advert for girl’s football in the East Region.
Congratulations to Dunfermline Athletic GFC and Dundee United Sports Club whilst commiserations go to Forfar Farmington and Letham Girls.
All finalists were presented with their medals from Women's A squad internationalists Lisa Evans and Emma Mitchell.
A big thank you goes to the staff at Riverside Playing Fields, British Red Cross, Lisa & Emma, all our volunteers, parents and of course the players for helping make the finals an excellent event for girls football.
