The Scottish FA's South-East region is to open its first Goalkeeping Development Centre which will take place on the Community Pitch at Tynecastle Stadium from August.

Specialist goalkeeping coaches Brian McNally and Chris Flockhart have devised an exciting programme of technique development and game related practices that will help young shot-stoppers improve their handling, catching, shape and distribution.

David Drummond, Scottish FA South East regional manager, said: “The Goalkeeping Development Centre has been created to further support the large number of young goalkeepers in the region.

“In addition, it will compliment the existing provision made available through grassroots clubs, teams and volunteers.”
