UEFA Grassroots Week will take place during the 10th to the 17th September in conjunction with the European Commission Week of Sport to encourage physical activity and healthy lifestyles.

To celebrate UEFA Grassroots Week the Scottish FA will actively participate in the project through promoting a series of grassroots events being held across the country.

Overarching these activities The Scottish FA will promote the value and breadth of the game across Scotland.

This will be achieved through visits by Regional Development Staff to these activities and the use of branded props to create compelling images of the scale and diversity of grassroots football throughout the football network.

In conjunction with this staff will distribute the UEFA Grassroots resources such as football and t-shirts to the various projects.
