Hearts FC number one goalkeeper Marian Kello who recently made his international debut for Slovakia has started the Scottish FA's coaching pathway to becoming a top class goalkeeping, coach even although he has the best days ahead of him between the sticks.
Marian attended and participated in the Scottish FA's Goalkeeping Level 1 Course at Dalkeith Campus on Sunday 20th February, led by SFA Tutor, Alex Connon. The course was also attended by local boys and girls club coaches who were delighted to be rubbing shoulders with the international keeper.
Alex Connon was delighted withe effort and contribution of Kello on the course, "Marian is a first class goalkeeper but it is important that they follow the coaching pathway and gain as much experience on route as possible. His attitude and worth ethic was excellent and it was great for the grassroots coaches to be working alongside him...
He was also asked on a number of occasions to describe the last minute penalty save he made on the Saturday giving Hearts all three points!"
