Emergency First Aid (HSE) is a 4 hour emergency first aid course, tailored to meet the needs of the football environment and is ideal for coaches, teachers and general volunteers. At the end of the course participants will be able to: Assess and prioritise a first aid incident, deal with an unconscious casualty, deal with an adult or child who is choking, carry out resuscitation (CPR) on adults and children, control bleeding and manage shock, recognise and deal with a range of common injuries until the arrival of medical care, maintain records, use and maintain first aid kits.
