Kilmarnock FC Community Department in partnership with the Scottish FA, East Ayrshire Active Schools Partnership and McDonalds delivered a hugely successful Primary School Football Festival at Powerleague in Kilmarnock which was attended by around 150 kids. The programme consists of curriculum time coaching and a matches programme for P7 boys and girls. Pictured is former Killie Star and current Kilmarnock FC Community Coach Alan Mahood who is responsible for delivering the programme in East Ayrshire. Alan said ''It was fantastic to see so many boys and girls participate today and throughout the last 10 weeks, their attitude and effort both during the coaching and particularly today during the festival was a joy to watch, hopefully this will encourage more kids to take up the game on a more regular basis''.
