Scotland Women’s National Team has been bolstered by the return of youngsters Kirsty Maclean and Leah Eddie ahead of July’s European qualifiers.
Midfielder Kirsty Maclean had been sidelined due to injury since January and hadn’t featured for the national side this year but earned her 7th international cap in May after replacing club teammate Rachel McLauchlan who pulled out of the squad due to injury. Similarly, defender Leah Eddie has retained her spot after replacing Sarah Ewens who also dropped out due to injury in the last international window.
Pedro Matinez Losa’s side are so far unbeaten in their 2025 European Qualifying campaign with 3 wins and 1 draw, 10 goals scored and 1 conceded. Scotland will travel to Slovakia in the penultimate game of the campaign before bringing the curtain down against Serbia at Partick Thistle’s Wyre Stadium on July 16, tickets available here.
