Renowned coaches from the youth and adult game will be attending the Central region’s annual Coach Development Day at Broadwood Stadium on Sunday, 21st July.

Aston Villa’ s player recruitment officer Sean Kimberley will be accompanied by coaches from the clubs award-winning youth academy.

Sean will give an insight into the reasons behind the success of the academy and outline the type of players he tries to recruit.

Coaches from the academy will then deliver a practical demonstration of sessions run within their training system.

UEFA Pro Licence holder John Hughes will impart his knowledge of the game during a practical demonstration of the coaching techniques he has used at clubs such as Hibernian, Livingston and Hartlepool.

Scottish FA Central regional manager Andrew Gilchrist said: “This is set to be a top class demonstration of the latest techniques being used within football coaching at youth and adult level.

“All of our guests will offer genuine insight into player development.

“I hope all aspiring coaches out there will sign up for this fantastic opportunity.”

Places for this conference are limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis on receipt of a completed application form (on the RIGHT) along with payment.

The cost of the day is £10 per person. If you belong to a Quality Mark Club then you can apply for the discounted rate of £5. Details of where to send this are on the application form for the event.
