The Scottish FA are pleased to help launch the first Scottish National Team branded Bowls manufactured by the famous Taylor Bowls.
Proudly featuring the official Scottish National team logo, players and lawns up and down the country can now show their support to all our national teams.
David Gourlay, the Head Coach who led the Scottish bowling men’s team to Gold in the singles, pairs and fours at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, visited Hampden Park to help with the launch.
He said: “I am delighted to support Team Taylor and to introduce the Scottish team logo on to a bowling product made here in Scotland.”
“It is great to see for the first time the official Scottish National team`s logo on a set of bowls which will be an added support on the greens for the Scottish National team`s quest to make the Euro 2016 Finals.”
Taylor Bowls added, “We are delighted to be an official licensee of the Scottish FA and we look forward to supporting their sport through our products”.
Head of Retail for the Scottish FA Steven Romeo commented: "I would like to welcome Taylor Bowls to the growing list of Scottish FA licensees. The name Taylor Bowls is synonymous with quality & innovation, these qualities combined with the Scottish FA strategic plan, Scotland United A 2020 Vision, make this an ideal partnership. I am sure the Tartan Army will love this fantastic range of quality bowls".
