The second of our McDonalds Grassroots Regional Award winners of 2015 have been revealed.

Five Central Region winners received their awards during last night's pre-season fixture between Stirling Albion and Hearts at Forthbank Stadium. The managers of both sides were joined by Elliot Jardine of McDonalds and Hearts Director of Football Craig Levein, to hand over the awards.

The winners are:

William Docherty – Doune Castle

Disability Football

Caroline Diaz – Milngavie FC

Girls & Womens Football

Jim Grierson – Dumbarton United

Schools Football

Patrick McMahon- Baljaffray Primary School

Youth Football

Alex Watters – Gairdoch United

The annual Scottish FA Grassroots Awards presented by McDonald’s and the Sunday Mail aims to recognise and reward people across the country that make a difference to grassroots football in their local community. Awards will be presented at local ceremonies, ahead of a showpiece national ceremony.
