Former professional footballer Andy Walker was at Toryglen Regional Football Centre today to put the children through their paces at an end of term McDonald's Primary School Football Festival.
Around 300 boys and girls from across Glasgow took part in the festival, where they had the chance to meet Andy, who taught them some tricks of the trade.
Local McDonald's Franchisees Kate & Kenny Walker, who also scooped the award for “Best McDonald's Supporting Restaurant 2009” at the McDonalds/Scottish FA Grassroots Awards, donated fruit bags and kit packs.
Kirsten Noon, Activities Development Officer from Glasgow City Council Education Services was also on hand as she donated a set of brand new Scotland strips as part of a prize draw.
With the great weather and fantastic facilities, the event was a roaring success. Click on the video to see an exclusive interview with Andy Walker.
