Football fever will hit Inverness and Fort William this weekend as local youngsters and their families head to McDonald’s Football Open Days. The North region will host two of many free family, community football activities taking place across the UK this year.
Organised by McDonald’s franchisee Craig Duncan, the Inverness Youth League and Fort William FC, the Open Days offer families throughout Inverness and Fort William a great opportunity to meet some local footballing heroes in John Robertson and Chris Innes.

The events are free of charge for all and form part of the McDonald’s Community partnership with The Scottish FA. They are designed to try to inspire youngsters to give the game a go and sharpen their skills through a series of interactive coaching sessions, mini-tournaments and skills inflatables.
There will also be the opportunity to win one of two places to lead out Scotland in their European Championship Qualifier against Spain on 12th October.
