The Bank of Scotland Midnight League is a national 5-a-side community football initiative aimed, at keeping young people off the streets and reducing crime levels and anti-social behaviour.

The initiative is supported by the Scottish Football Association, local police forces, Local Authorities, Scotland Against Drugs and The Coalfields Regeneration Trust.

These leagues are held in many areas in the North of Scotland, across seven local authorities which cover everywhere from Shetland to Aberdeen.

The initiative is for both boys and girls aged 12 to 16 of any ability. The league is held on a Friday or Saturday night between 7pm and midnight.
