The New Moray 4v4 football has now been running for a couple of weeks, giving over 130 children in Primary 3, 4 and 5 a chance to play small sided games. The 4v4 game has now become part of the Elgin and District  4 & 7s football which fits in with the Scottish Football Association Player pathway. The festival style format where they can play 6 – 8 games on a night and no scores are recorded,  gives the children a chance to develop their game through repetition of skills giving them more shots on goal, more 1v1 situations and more enjoyment. The feedback from both parents and coaches has been extremely positive and the players are thoroughly enjoying the experience.

The Elgin & District 4s & 7s is run by a small committee of mainly RAF volunteers, some of which are being posted. If anyone is interested in helping with a team, or taking a role on the committee or finding out more about the 4s & 7s contact Arthur Jack on
