The Scottish FA North Region is running a FREE in-service day at the Aberdeen Sports Village, Aberdeen on Wednesday 31st March. The session will run from 7pm – 9pm and is open to anyone with an interest in football.
The themes on the evening will include creative player, aimed at players of all ages and ability levels. If you attended a creative player in-service last year, don’t worry, as you can add to your knowledge with some new practices for 2010.
All those attending will receive a DVD and booklet designed to help and encourage coaches to develop the creative aspects of players and to create more technically able performers by mastering the attacking 1v1 situations.
This is an opportunity for all coaches at any level of the game to come along and pick up new coaching drills or practices.
This session will be open to coaches, coaches’ helpers, parents and anyone else who is involved in the game. The Scottish FA sees it as an important part of developing coaches and the game across the North of Scotland.
North regional manager, Graeme Sutherland, said: “We are keen to ensure that anyone who is interested is welcomed to this event, whether they are a current volunteer within club or schools football or are considering volunteering in the future.”
