65 new coaches attended a Level 1 Early Touches course at the Magnum Leisure Centre, Irvine on Sunday 24th July. Those who attended were given a taste of the new course format, and went away with the brand new CD-Rom resource. Coaches attended from all over the South West Region, with Quality Mark clubs being well represented. Clubs represented were;
Tass Thistle, Cunninghame Youth, Kilbirnie Community Football Club, Dalry Rovers, Kilwinning Sports Club, Stewarton Annick FC, Irvine Thistle, Troon Thistle, Bonnyton Thistle, Prestwick Boys club, Bellfield Royals FC, Crosshouse Boys Club, Sorn Athletic, Galston BC, Craigie Colts, Glenburn Miners Welfare FC.
Craig Hamilton, Scottish F.A Football Development Officer for North Ayrshire, delivered the course, with assistance from Club Development Manager for the South West Region, John Brown.
