Best Coach in Youth Football - Robert Bartlett

Robert Bartlett is the founder, chairman and the head coach at Cuminestown Youth Active Football Club and was voted the Best Coach in Youth Football at the recent Scottish FA Grassroots Awards, presented by McDonald's and the Sunday Mail at Hampden Park.

Cuminestown is a small village in the heart of Aberdeenshire with a population of around 500 and just one primary school.
Robert was asked by local parents who knew he was a keen coach if he would show their children how to play football.

From one afternoon taking a couple of local children for a ‘kick about’ in the park, Robert has now created and developed an excellent club that currently looks after seventy three children.
