Secondary Schools from all over East Ayrshire participated in the Bank of Scotland Soccer One tournament at Grange Academy in Kilmarnock.

The programme was delivered by Kilmarnock FC in partnership with the Scottish FA, Bank of Scotland and East Ayrshire Council.  On the day around 120 S1 boys got together to play games between schools.

PE teacher from the Grange, Mr Adams, hailed the success of the programme.

''Programmes like Soccer One offer fantastic opportunities for schools and pupils to come together and compete in games.

"It also provides a platform for those players who may not get the opportunity to represent their school football team on a regular basis''.
