Eight Polish coaches from FC Brave Eagles in Aberdeen have been put through their 1.1 Early Touches with another three moving onto their 1.2 Coach Young Footballers.
The newly formed Polish group hope to also become recognised as a club and affiliate so that they can join a local league to play competitive football.
Role model for the Diversity and Inclusion project, Zubi Emele, also recently passed his C Licence and Children’s Award, he stated that the mentoring offered from AFCCT and the support from Scottish FA Cashback Scheme was extremely beneficial, leading to his success. Zubi is now looking to use these qualifications to better his coaching ability both within the adult and children’s game.
Zubi currently coaches the Jesus House AFC Amateur side and is also involved in many AFCCT programmes, including a new participation centre in partnership with his church in Aberdeen, in which he hopes a link can be made between the practitioners attending the church taking up the opportunity to play on a come as you play basis.
