On Sunday 24th January over 100 Coach Co-ordinators from Quality Mark Clubs came together at Hampden and Toryglen for the first National Coach Co-ordinator Inservice.

The morning saw a series of talks from Neil MacKintosh, Head of Youth Development on the role of Clubs in developing their players and from Positive Coaching Scotland on how to bring out the best in their players through positive words and actions.

The afternoon brought a sneak preview of the new Football Skills Challenge, a new iniative from the Scottish FA that uses various tests to help improve players skills, modified for different age groups so that all coaches can use it.

The whole day was very well received with all the coaches present taking away a copy of the new Skills Challenge DVD and lots of fresh ideas.

This Challenge is the main focus of the next Central Region Inservice taking place on the 28th Feb at Broadwood Stadium so if you would like to come along and find out more details then please complete the attached form and return it to:
