The South West regional squads have completed their programme for 2009.

The 1996 boys have had a terrific year, playing the likes of Kilmarnock, Ayr United and Queens Park.  They have also completed two sports science nights, where they learned diiferent ways to improve their football skills.

Over the summer the boys enjoyed an overnight stay at Stirling University and played fixtures against the five other regions in Scotland.

A very exciting programme was matched by the manner and conduct from the boys throughout the year.

The girls' regional squads have completed their 28-week block for the year. The girls concentrate solely on training, working on technical and tactical aspects of the game, and meet up every Wednesday evening to explore their potential to participate in national squads.

The under 15 squad also enjoyed a weekend in Tulliallan at the girls' national camp.  This gave them the opportunity to put their training into practice by playing fixtures against other regions.
