Tuesday night saw another round of matches take place at Bells Sports Centre Peth in the UEFA Futsal Cup. In two exciting games the crowds witnessed some excellent goals and impressive skills.

FS Ilves Tampere secured progress from the preliminary round with a game to spare following up their  8-4 victory over Croatia Berlin on Monday with a 4-2 win against Montenegro's Bajo Pivljanin Pluzine. It proved a close affair and early in the second half the impressive Bojan Bajovic put Bajo 2-1 up but in the last ten minutes Jaakko Laitinen, Timur Inapshba and Juha-Pekka Torvinen secured victory for Ilves.

Ilves's progress to the main round for the second year running was then confirmed regardless of the concluding results on Thursday when Croatia Berlin came from behind to beat hosts Perth Saltires 3-1. Sean Fergus had put Perth ahead, but they had Mark Duigan sent off for two yellow cards and a Kevin Reinhardt-inspired Croatia Berlin side mounted a second-half comeback to win.

The event takes a break on Wednesday with the last round of match taking place on Thursday evening, again at Bells Sports Centre.
