Scotland and Cardiff City star Ross McCormack was in Motherwell today to meet some potential future stars of the Scottish game.

Ross was at the Scottish FA School of Football at Braidhurst High School for an event organised by Nationwide Building Society, supporters of the Scotland National Team.

Ross joined the young players on the training field, before taking part in a Q&A session, where he was quizzed on everything from how it feels to score at Hampden, to the type of food he eats before a game.

Braidhurst High School is one of six Scottish FA Schools of Football, funded through the Scottish Government’s CashBack For Communities programme. Up to 20 pupils were chosen to attend each school, based upon various criteria, to benefit from an enhanced football coaching programme and a wide range of academic and social development activities during their first two years at High School.
