Day two of the Scottish FA Central Region Learning Disabilities Schools League produced another exciting day of football.
There was a real excitement at Ravenscraig, as after a close first round of fixtures three points would prove extremely valuable.
The teams managed to dig deep, scoring 56 goals over the 10 games played.
Stuart Sharp, Scottish FA national development manager, said: “This is the second time I’ve been along to the Schools League fixtures and I have been very impressed by the attitude and commitment shown by the players.
“The standard of football on show was, as always, excellent. Thanks and praise must go to the schools who participate and the volunteers who give up their time to make this happen.”
Special thanks go out to North Lanarkshire Football Development department, who planned and co-ordinated the event. Their support and commitment has been outstanding so far this season.
League Day 3 will take place on Friday 18th March.
