Carolina Panthers kicker Graham Gano is ready for the biggest game of his life on Sunday in the Super Bowl but he hasn’t forgotten his Scottish roots.
Gano, who is from Arbroath, lived there until he was nine and still has family in Scotland.
Now a household name in America, Gano will line-up for the Carolina Panthers against the Denver Broncos in Sunday's NFL showdown.
Gano said: "My dad was always pushing me to play American Football, but my sole goal growing up was playing for the Scotland National team”
Gano also regularly keeps in touch with Scottish born Placekicker Lawrence Tynes who won the Super Bowl with the New York Giants in 2012.
