Scotland have been paired with England in 2018 World Cup qualifying Group F following today’s draw in St Petersburg.

Slovakia, Slovenia, Lithuania, Malta complete an exciting group for the National Team.

Scotland have faced the Auld Enemy in a World Cup Qualifier just once previously, England winning 1-0 at Hampden Park back in 1950. The two rivals last met at Celtic Park in November 2014.

Second seeds Slovakia will visit Scotland for the first time while Slovenia should be looking overturn our unbeaten record against the country in qualifying (Won 1, Drawn 1).

Scotland will share a qualification group with Lithuania for the fifth time, with just one solitary defeat for the Scots in eight meetings.

Malta last met Scotland during qualification for the 1994 World Cup finals when Scotland won both group ties, scoring five goals in the process.
