A group of Scotland supporters are participating in a charity cycle from Wembley Stadium to Hampden Park ahead of the FIFA World Cup Qualifier on Saturday, 10 June.

The cyclists will leave Wembley Stadium on the morning of Tuesday, 6 June, arriving at Hampden Park in the afternoon of the Saturday, just in time for kick-off.

The five-day charity bike ride will help to raise money for the Tartan Army Sunshine Appeal.

The aim of the appeal is to make a donation to identified children’s charities in every country Scotland play matches in.

Last year, the Tartan Army Sunshine Appeal made six individual £5,000 donations, including one to Lifeline 4 Kids in London following the reverse fixture in November.

The appeal was started by Scotland supporters on their own initiative and since 2003 it has provided support to numerous countries across the world.

They have already received kind sponsorship donations for their latest venture and exceeded their original target, raising more than £8,000 so far.

They now target £10,000 with Scotland’s own Ikechi Anya also pledging money to the cause.
