The new Scotland Men’s National Team away shirt is released today, blending heritage with a bold, contemporary aesthetic.

Designed by adidas, a return to scarlet red - last used in the 1980s - sees the new jersey draw on the rich history of some of Scotland’s most iconic away kits, reimagined for the modern game.

The design is elevated by vertical purple pinstripes, adding depth and detail to create a dynamic look that stands out on the international stage.

A key feature of the new shirt is the reintroduction of the adidas Trefoil logo, a classic mark that connects the kit to some of the brand’s most celebrated designs, and something that will appear on all adidas away shirts in this global release.

The shirt is finished with a refined sign-off at the back of the neck, where a thistle is proudly displayed, a subtle nod to the nation.

The Scotland Men’s National Team will wear the new away kit for the first time against Japan on Saturday, 28 March at Barclays Hampden. Supporters can be there to see it in action and buy their own, with tickets for the match on sale here.

This summer will also see the new away strip take to the global stage, as Scotland compete at the FIFA World Cup for the first time since 1998.

The new Scotland away shirt is available to purchase now through official retail partner JD Sports, with a full range of sizes available for adults and juniors in-store and online.
