UEFA Under-21 Championship Qualifying

Scotland Men's Under-21 Head Coach Scot Gemmill has today named a squad of 21 as his side prepare to continue their UEFA Under-21 European Championship qualifying campaign later this month.

Scotland travel to face Gibraltar at Europa Point Stadium, Gibraltar on Saturday, 15 November before returning to Fir Park in Motherwell once again to take on Bulgaria. Tickets for the Bulgaria match can be purchased here, with Under-16s and Scotland Supporters Club (SSC) members going free.

After a record-breaking victory in Dundee against Gibraltar in the last camp, followed by a dramatic late equaliser in Baku against Azerbaijan, Scotland remain in contention for a play-off spot in Group B.

With some strong individual performances in the first two camps, as well as some new and emerging talents among the group, Scot Gemmill has plenty of options ahead of two more big ties for the Young Scots.

Rory Wilson returns to the Under-21 set-up for the first-time since playing against Malta in October 2023, looking to add to his impressive scoring record at Under-19 and Under-17 levels for Scotland.

Wolverhampton Wanderers Ethan Sutherland has also been drafted in to his first Scotland U21 squad. The young winger made the move from St. Mirren in August 2024 and has been a regular in their Premier League 2 side, netting twice this season.

Taylor Steven is another Under-21 debutant, and will be looking to bring his impressive form from the Scottish Championship to the Scotland side, grabbing a goal and an assist against Ross County at the weekend.
