On Friday 11th December, pupils who are part of the girls’ football team at Braidhurst High School were treated to an afternoon with Scotland internationalist Rachel Corsie.

Rachel kindly gave up her afternoon to spend time talking to pupils and and answering their questions on life as a professional footballer.  The girls thoroughly enjoyed hearing about the teams she has played for including her current club, Seattle Reign, and also about her involvement in the Scotland National Team.

Two of the pupils from Braidhurst, Jade Bell (S2) and Sara McWhirter (S4), also delivered a short talk about their involvement in football to which Rachel was able to respond with her advice to them.

The staff at Braidhurst High School would like to thank Rachel very much for taking the time to talk to the players and hopefully inspire them about the possibilities on offer with football.
