Scotland Supporters Club members have shown their support for the national team after snapping up more than 5,500 European Qualifier Home Packages less than a week after going on sale.

After a successful end to 2018 that saw Alex McLeish’s Scotland side clinch top spot in their UEFA Nations League group – securing an invaluable play-off spot for UEFA EURO 2020 – fans have moved quickly to secure their seats for the forthcoming qualification campaign.

Early Bird European Qualifier Home Match Packages went on sale on Tuesday, 5 February, allowing members of the Scotland Supporters Club to secure their seats at a discounted rate for the matches against Cyprus, Russia, Belgium, San Marino and Kazakhstan.

Scottish FA Chief Executive Ian Maxwell has moved to thank supporters for showing such strong backing for the team.

“We are delighted to see fans get behind the team so strongly, with already more than 5,500 match packages sold to Scotland Supporters Club members since going on sale last week,” he said.

“After the Scotland team’s success in the 2018 UEFA Nations League campaign we listened to the feedback from supporters and put together what we thought was a really fair and competitive package for this year’s qualifiers.

“We introduced an early bird discount this year as a result of this feedback and we have been really pleased to see so many fans take advantage of the deal within the first week of being on sale.

“Although the team have already secured the safety net of a play-off spot for UEFA EURO 2020, Alex and the players are determined to secure qualification for themselves through the traditional qualification campaign this year.

“It’s important to get as many fans behind the team as possible and I would urge supporters to purchase their seats now to take advantage of the discounted rate and help cheer the team on to victory.”

Scotland Supporters Club members have exclusive access to European Qualifier Home Match Package sales.

Early Bird European Qualifier Home Match Packages are available until 12 noon on Friday, 15 February from as little as £90 for adults and £40 for juniors.
