Scotland has been chosen to host the 2019 UEFA European Women's Under-19 Championship final tournament.

The matches will be played during July 2019 with the match dates to be announced in December next year.

The tournament will be played at four venues across Scotland: McDiarmid Park (St Johnstone), St Mirren (Paisley 2021 Stadium) East End Park (Dunfermline Athletic and The Tony Macaroni Arena (Livingston).

Scotland have qualified for the UEFA European Women's Under-19 Championship in 2008, 2010 and 2014.

This is the first time Scotland has organised a UEFA tournament since the 1998 European U16 Championship.

Last week it was also confirmed that Scotland will host Switzerland, Serbia and Montenegro in their UEFA European Under-17 Championship Elite Round in March as they aim to reach their fourth consecutive finals.
