International Under-14 Development Tournament
Czech Republic 1-3 Scotland
Tuesday 5th May 2015
Rijssen, Netherlands
(McDonald x2, McGrath)
A double from Declan McDonald on his international debut and a goal from Kieran McGrath secured a victory for Scotland Under-14s against the Czech Republic in Rijssen, Netherlands.
Scotland recovered from losing an early goal to equalise just before half-time as Alloa Athletic's McDonald netted the first of his two goals. Kieran McGrath, who plays for Hibernian, gave Scotland the lead after an hour before McDonald completed his brace in the dying moments of a match in which Neil Macintosh's side were worthy of their victory.
The side now face the hosts tomorrow before playing Turkey on Friday in the round-robin development tournament.
