Scotland Under-21s return to action later this month, with Scot Gemmill's side set to face Sweden and Wales in a friendly double header in Spain.

Scotland will face Sweden on Thursday, 23 March before taking on Wales three days later on Sunday, 26 March.

Both matches at the Pinatar Arena will serve as further preparation ahead of the 2025 UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualifiers which get underway in September.

The young Scots have been drawn in Group B for the qualifying campaign, alongside Spain, Belgium, Hungary, Malta and Kazakhstan.

Under-21 Head Coach Scot Gemmill: "We are still very early in a new cycle for the Under-21s and these matches will be another important part of the players development at this level.

"It’s fantastic to have two challenging opponents for the players and I expect the games will be tactically different.

"Every day we get to spend with the players is crucial as they continue to show that they understand how we work and we get to know them.

"We know the games will be competitive and the players need to maximise the opportunity and experience."
