Men's Under-19s

For 2026-27, UEFA has launched a new qualifying process for the 2027 European Under-19 Championship. Qualification will be split into three rounds, with Round 1 played in Spring 2026, Round 2 in Autumn 2026 and Round 3 in Spring 2027.

Round 1 sees the teams split into League A and B, with seven groups of four. Teams finishing in fourth place will be relegated to League B for Round 2, with League B winning teams being promoted to League A for round 2.

Round 2 will see another seven groups of four, with fourth-ranked teams eliminated, with again, winners of League B groups taking their place for Round 3. The draw for Round 2 will take place following the completion of Round 1.

Round 3 will resemble the currently elite round, with seven groups of four. The seven group winners will join the hosts in qualifying for the final tournament. The draw for Round 3 will take place following the completion of Round 2.
