Due to a clash of dates with the Scottish FA Regional Conference on 28th March 2010, Scottish Borders Council has had to amend one of the dates for the Scottish FA Level 2 Coaching Young Footballers Course, for Coaches working with Children to 7th March 2010. 

Amended course details are :

Date:                     Sunday 7th and 21st March 2010

Time(s):                 10.00am - 4.00pm

Cost:                      £45.00 (Quality Mark reduced price £21.00)

Scottish FA Level 2 Coaching Young Footballers

This 12-hour (2 x 6 hours) course is designed to assist coaches with the planning, preparation, organisation and evaluation of their coaching sessions.

Coaches should note that the course is mainly practical in nature with coaches being involved in the coaching and demostration of themes.

The course will focus on coaching style and the use of differentiation, ie, provision of practices to suit the wide range of abilities with the primary school age group. This approach is applied to different themes shuch as passing, dribbling, shooting etc.

Please note that for coaches to be covered by insurance it is mandatory to have attended appropriate Level 1 Course as stipulated by SYFA.
