After a long break from the previous games day, the Schools were back looking as fresh as ever, eager to showcase their talents once again on the big stage. It is evident that the training equipment the schools received at the beginning of the league has been put into good practice.

Unfortunately only four of the five teams were able to attend on Friday. It was disappointing not to have a full fixture list but Woodlands, Cedar Bank, Pilrig Park & Saltersgate certainly took full advantage of the extra games. This gave the teams on show the opportunity to gain some valuable points and bridge a gap between rivals.

The first two games were extremely close encounters with both games resulting in a draw, the highest scoring game of the day fell to Saltersgate v Cedar Bank who produced a 3-3- draw.

Greig Taylor – Assistant National Development Officer – Disability said “the league table is now really tight, you can see from the players faces the passion they have for the game, I am really looking forward to the final fixture day on the 11th June at Woodlands School, Curry. With the top two teams only separated by goal difference, its shaping up to be an exciting finish.
