In the Scottish FA Youth Cup Fifth Round yesterday, Kilmarnock, Motherwell and Rangers progressed to the semi-finals.
Kilmarnock overcame rivals Ayr United in front of 800 spectators at Somerset Park.
It was 2-2 after 90 minutes with Kilmarnock down to 10 men and despite going a goal down in extra time they fought back to win 4-3.
Rangers found themselves 1-0 down early on after Kevin O’Hara struck for the Bairns.
The hosts fought back though with Jamie Barjonas notching a double before half-time and then Zak Rudden from the penalty spot.
Billy Gilmour scored with a composed finish and Jack Thomson also hit the net.
Current holders Motherwell secured their place in the semi-final in dramatic fashion through a Dylan Mackin strike in the dying moments to seal the victory.
