The Scottish Gas Men's Scottish Cup is back for what is one of the highlights of the Scottish football calendar - the Fourth Round weekend.
While holders Aberdeen and the other top flight sides enter at this stage, there will also be representation from sides in the sixth tier, in the form of East of Scotland League Premier Division outfit Camelon Juniors and West of Scotland League Premier Division side Auchinleck Talbot.
The weekend kicks off on Friday evening at Ibrox, when Rangers host Annan Athletic in front of the Premier Sports cameras. The two sides meet in the Scottish Cup for the second time, after Rangers ran out 3-0 victors at Galabank in 2022.
Annan do have fond memories of Ibrox, however, winning 2-1 in Glasgow in a Third Division clash in 2013, through goals from David Hopkirk and Ally Love.
Dunfermline manager Neil Lennon comes up against his former side, Hibernian, in the second TV game, with BBC covering that sell-out tie at KDM Group East End Park at Saturday lunchtime. It is the first Scottish Cup meeting between the two sides since the Pars emerged victorious in a 2007 Semi-Final replay to reach the Scottish Cup Final, which they lost narrowly to Celtic.
11 matches then take place in the traditional Saturday afternoon slot, with Camelon Juniors hosting Elgin City in the pick of the ties. Camelon had never previously made it beyond the 2nd Round of the Scottish Cup, though they will go into this tie with confidence, having defeated League Two opposition in Edinburgh City in Round Three.
New Kilmarnock manager Neil McCann takes charge at Rugby Park for the first time as Killie host Dundee, while St Mirren travel to Livingston in the other all-Premiership clash.
Partick Thistle and Montrose, remarkably, will have never met in this competition before prior to their meeting at Firhill on Saturday afternoon. This tie is one of the two matches where competition sponsors, Scottish Gas, will be handing out hand warmers to supporters of both sides, as part of their latest activation.
Ross County boss Stuart Kettlewell takes his Staggies side to Fir Park to take on Motherwell, with 2023 Scottish Cup finalists Inverness Caledonian Thistle travelling to face League Two table-toppers, The Spartans.
Premiership league leaders Hearts are then at home to Falkirk on Saturday evening live on Premier Sports. John McGlynn's Bairns side have been one of the top flight's most impressive performers and they currently sit sixth in their first season back in the Premiership.
Hearts have not won the cup since 2012, reaching the final in 2022, though they have won both of their meetings with Falkirk this season, and won 1-0 in the last meeting in this competition six years ago.
Two matches take place on Sunday, starting at Pittodrie as holders Aberdeen host Raith Rovers. The Dons lifted the Scottish Cup for the first time since 1990 as they defeated Celtic on penalties in last year's final at the National Stadium.
Aberdeen are unbeaten in each of their last 15 Scottish Cup ties against lower league opposition at Pittodrie – though that last defeat came in 2010 to Sunday's opponents, Raith Rovers, when Gregory Tade's goal gave the Fife side a 1-0 win.
The final tie of the weekend is one of the most intriguing as the competition's most successful side, Celtic, travel to Ayrshire to take on sixth tier Auchinleck Talbot.
Talbot have faced top flight opposition on the three occasions, losing to Heart of Midlothian in all three of those matches, though they did reach the Fifth Round in 2018/2019.
The match will take place at Rugby Park, following a request from Auchinleck Talbot who had taken advice from Police Scotland.
