Seafar Villa Cumbernauld FC held a double celebration this year at their Presentation Event at Cumbernauld High School on Saturday 12 June 2010. The Club celebrated all of their Players achievements and also celebrated 25 continuous years of community football within the local and surrounding areas.
The Club held a fun day to accompany the Presentation and would like to thank McDonalds for the use of the McDonalds inflatable 5 a side pitch and overhead kick. Other events included Bouncy castles , Beat the Goalie, Football Speed shot, Tombolas and many other events throughout the day.
Seafar has in excess of 250 players who participate within 17 teams ranging from our 2004 Academy through to our 1992's and continued growth planned for the coming season. We have 56 volunteer coaches who generously give up their time to encourage and develop each players ability whilst advancing their own learning by gaining National coaching accreditation the Scottish F.A's Coaching Pathways.
Thanks also to Alan Taylor, Scottish FA Football Development Manager for Lanarkshire and Dunbartonshire for his assistance throughout the season. The Club has recently been awarded the Quality Mark Standard Award and are progressing towards the next stage of the Quality Mark, the Development Award.
