Angus Council Sports Development are looking for the County’s sporting stars to step into the spotlight at their annual sports awards ceremony taking place in March this year. Nomination forms are available now with athletes, players, coaches, friends and family encouraged to submit forms for consideration by the selection panel.
Launched in 1996 these awards have been a resounding success and have raised awareness of sporting strengths in the county – from top amateur golfers and archers, to swimmers and horse riders through to the hundreds of local volunteers, coaches, officials and administrators, who give of their time to support these budding sporting champions and provide valuable opportunities for athletes of all levels to participate regularly in their chosen activity through the many sports clubs across Angus.
Angus Council Sports Development Team is looking to honour the commitment, achievements and dedication of all these individuals and teams at all levels of sport across Angus.
