Forfar and Scotland's Rachael Small was named the Scottish Women's Premier League Player of the Month for September crowning what has been a fantastic year for the former Aberdeen player.
Rachael trains 3 mornings a week at Aberdeen Sports Village as part of the North Region Women's Academy. She captained the Scotland U19's team who qualified for the recent European Championships in Macedonia. The 18 year old was then called up to the senior A Squad and made her debut against Poland in a 2-1 victory. The recent award caps an excellent season for Small who is pushing for a top 5 finish with her club in the last few games of the season. You can see Rachael in action this week as Forfar take on Hamilton in a mid-table clash at Strathmore Park.
Well done Rachael!
