A group of pupils from South Africa swapped their sprawling township for the Highlands to gain a Scottish football coaching qualification.

Five pupils and two staff from JE Malepe Secondary School in Tsakane, outside Johannesburg, plus pupils and volunteers from Charleston Academy took part in the scheme.

The South Africans left the Highland Football Academy in Dingwall with a basic coaching qualification which will allow them to help out with after-school sports clubs at home.
