The South East’s long tradition of success in the SYFA Scottish Cup looks set to continue in 2011 with a number of the Region’s clubs reaching the semi-final stages once again.
In the U13s competition both Fauldhouse Foxes and Hutchison Vale FC have reached the last four with Fauldhouse drawn against Moorlands BC and Hutchison Vale against Syngenta Juveniles. Tynecastle FC will also play Syngenta Juveniles in the U14s section and Edina Hibs play St Cadocs YO in the 15s. In the U16s competition Hutchison Vale will play Ferry Athletic and in the 19s section both Whitburn and Salvesen still have the opportunity to progress to the semi-finals with a slight backlog of fixtures at that age group.
